I've always been interested in this. Do the losers play? What about the other schools in those divisions, do they just play other schools to get those 2 extra games in?

It feels like it would both be really difficult to organize and really fun to do as well lol

The ovac committee does what they call a consolation pool games, the teams that don't make the top 4 playoffs, they try to pair up the best matchups and maybe teams that haven't played one another in the regular season, all the consolation pool teams play a Home and away game, that are played on Tuesday 13 and Friday 16,the top four playoff teams, seeds 1 and 2 get home games in the semis, winners play sat 17 at O.U.Eastern,the two losers of the top four playoff games, have to play one another at which ever team that is the higher seed left, gets the home game

Awesome! Thanks for the info! I really like this and it gives something extra to play for too.

Oh it’s the perfect set up right before the state tourney. Fort Frye plays a Wheeling Central team that arguably is better then any team they’d face until regionals. I think WC wins state in WV. Fort probably won’t win that game but it prepares them for the big dance.

Oak Glen goes to Meadowbrook The Colts literally caught a real break when there was a water line break in Bellaire that cancelled the Bellaire-Oak Glen game on Tuesday night. Had they played and Oak Glen had won, the Colts would have ended up #3 and would have had to travel all the way to New Manchester. Instead, the Golden Bears travel to Byesville to take on the Colts.

You can take the boy out of the 'ville, but you can't take the 'ville out of the boy!!
