Tri- county league match up from years ago. Should be fun.I believe there was a similar matchup way back in 1998 or so when Lawhorn coached at Peebles.

That game was in 1999, Green was 21-1 going into that game, and Peebles upset Green.

Best of luck to the Bobcats in this game.

The Robinson boy Heath who was the shooting guard on that Peebles team is the father of Boston Robinson who is the shooting guard/ forward on this years Peebles team.Peebles only lost two or three that year on a team with 7 total players,so we don't feel it was an upset. Best of luck.

Bobcats are playing on house money. Should be loose and carefree and give Peebles all they can handle and possibly more than they can handle. Peebles may be the better team on paper, but last time I checked it wasn't played on paper. The boys from the furnace could turn up the heat a little and come away with a victory.

Peebles seemed to get rid of their jitters late against Waterford. Hollar is doing a good job with Green but I think this is the end of their road.

Peebles 68
Green 60

Peebles is the better team, but with Green going in with a lot of momentum it could be a close one. Peebles by 4

Congrats to Coach Hollar on a fantastic season. He inherited a program that had hit rock bottom and is now competing for a district title. I'm glad he and his kids get to experience this moment.

I think Peebles is the favorite but not by a wide margin. Arey is the best player on the floor but Green has the next two best players in Kimbler and Carver. The ticket is going to be -- who else steps up for each team? I think both teams match up pretty well and their styles are pretty similar. Both teams have some good sets to free up their scorers and both teams will sit down and defend.

I think Peebles ends up winning by around 4-5, but it wouldn't shock me one bit if Green wins this game.

I wonder if Green will box and 1 Arey, I would say the dad(coach Arey) has considered this an will have something prepared.

I don't know if Green has the next best 2 players Boston Robinson would be my third pick out of the 2 rosters. After 2 Tournament games he has lead Peebles in scoring and averaged around 17 this year in the regular season. I'm Taking Peebles by 12.

The key to this game is stopping Green’s fast break! Peebles should be able to attack the boards and get offensive put backs. Green wants to run and I personally think our coach will have them prepared! Arey and Robinson have a big game and win by 11!

Green has peaked at the right time, I look for the cats to move on to regionals. I look for Kimbler to play even better his 2nd time on the convo floor, and hopefully Carver sees his potential and continues to play his game. I think Maynard could play a role as well and will need to provide a spark! Lets go CATS!

Green likes to transition both after makes and misses, I look for Peebles to utilize their 2-2-1 3/4 court and other zone presses that will dictate the Green's tempo and take them out of rhythm. For Green to stay in this game I think they are going to have to hit a lot of outside shots and earn their fair share of 2nd chances on the offensive glass, especially when Peebles is in a zone look.
