Gonna see a different type of basketball compared to last year! Gonna be a small team scoring a lot in transition, biggest boys this year will be Eli Griffith and trafford Dunn both can run the floor this team can shoot the 3 too don’t count them out in the TVC Ohio a lot already are

Vinton County lost a lot of talent from last year's Viking squad is an understatement BUT as we have seen EVERY year the good programs (of which VC has with Coach Combs' & his staff) seem to reload with quality basketball players ... Eli Griffith missed a large part of last season BUT he is a quality player , there WILL BE names surrounding Griffith that were in the score book but not ON the floor often putting up "napkin stats" - Ricky Body, Gavin Arbaugh, Lance Montgomery, Dunn, Arthur ... ALL of these players "practiced" with the varsity - now getting their chance to play in the big game every night ... I'm looking forward to seeing how the youngin's respond ... Outstanding coaching + good players with experience + new personnel with talent = good "stuff" after Christmas ... VC will be fine ... looking forward to seeing VC in the first week or so then see them after the 1st of the year - lots of growing as a TEAM will happen between the first tip off game at ZT and games in January ... best of luck to Coach Combs' & Co. !

It will be a long year in Vinton County. they might go 11 and 11. They are a year or 2 away. That's what happens when you don't prepare your underclassman to be able to play.

They do tend to struggle every year because of this coaching staff. Never have the younger kids prepared and never play their big guys in the right spots.
Actually, I’m not even sure how I can sarcastically reply positively to your posts at this point. Maybe they can do what you want and get rid of Combs and go back to being a laughingstock like they were before he arrived.

Arbitlive on Chillicothe's schedule shows the Cavs playing Vinton County ... the Miami Trace schedule on Arbiterlive ALSO shows a game with VC on Feb. 5th ...

We are not playing Chillicothe this year. We will be playing Miami Trace on February 5th at Miami Trace.

I was told by someone at the scrimmage, that Vc could not handle the Oaks--was unable to stop them. If they can't play defense might be a long year.

Oaks won every 10 min quarter against vc and circleville and tied once against vc
