Chillicothe @ Alexander 1/3

Post by Ironman92 »

Hopefully Terry is back. Chillicothe looks unbeatable within the district but if Terry is back, Chilly a bit too laid back at at Alexander....

Chilly won’t roll like we think at the Alley but should pull away at worst.

Is Terry ok?

... I talked with Coach Huffer/Coach Beard at the Jackson game , I92, neither of them are taking Alexander lightly , both feel an urgency to bring their "A" game to AHS ... Alexander IS a physically strong TEAM at all positions except in the post - they push teams off their spots, can physically "redirect" a player from getting "to" their spots ... it will be an interesting game - I wish both teams a good game, hopefully Caleb Terry IS back on the floor for AHS - the Spartans are only 7 deep WITH Terry ... 6 deep minus 6-10 in the paint? makes the job really difficult vs #1 Chillicothe

Correct. I was not there, but told by my buddy in attendance, Terry did not play.

Thank You, it’s quite the secret. Hope he heals up and gets back for their league games.

I believe they are targeting the VC game on Tuesday. I'm sure plenty of factors play into it.

That was my guess.

I know that the Spartans have 2 or 3 very good players besides Terry, but after seeing Chillicothe play, I just can't see that matchup even with Terry turning out very well for the Spartans. Alexander has a good team, but they are not Chillicothe good.

It wouldn't have mattered.

Nobody insinuated that it would matter or have been a different outcome to the game. Simply a question of whether the big man played or not. Would have been a titanic upset if Alex came out on top, fully healthy or not. Pretty sure everyone knows/knew that

Good win that could’ve been used against a central district team and not a D3 school, no matter how good

Cavs can only beat who has been put on their schedule, I just hope games like this don’t bury them come tournament time

Chillicothe has no chance in that region. Maybe win a game

Chillicothe can win more than a game, but a lower seed will give them a much tougher first game. They are the real deal, but the lot of D2/D3 games on their schedule is going to hurt them seeding wise, which sucks.

This. With the super sectional you have no idea what you're first few games could even look like. If they had kept that entire game close vs moeller I think they'd have a nice result to take to the table. Even if chilli completely beefed up their schedule, they'd still have to play their league games and CD coaches would still crush them for it. So it is what it is
