Manchester @ Eastern Brown

Who you got? I think Eastern bounces back with a good game after the loss to Alexander. I’ll post score updates as they happen.

Not sure that I would look forward to facing EB after the beatdown they received from facing Alexander this past Saturday.

51-17 Eastern at the half. Second string played most of the second quarter. Total domination

I have seen many high school games in my more than 40 years, I can scarcely recall a game that was this one sided. Eastern Brown was definitely motivated to prove Saturday was a fluke, and Manchester was just over-matched. Eastern Brown's shooting percentage was unbelievable in the first half. Their overall team speed on transition and on defense was incredible. This is a strange comparison, but they look and move like a team of soccer players, even at 6'3 it was finesse and agility. I can see why a large, physical presence would be problematic possibly(like the 6'10 kid from Alexander). They recovered nicely, and I am thinking they will have the ability to make a nice tourney run.

I couldn’t agree more. Their speed last night in the first half was incredible.
