... as I posted in the rundown of the Warren game, the 3 Amigos in Butcher/Whiting/Markins are legitimate 20 point scorers ... Trainer/Andrews don't hurt team as they get points in the flow of the game ... they can get you double digits in games with their skill sets ... problem is the Bulldogs aren't deep BUT as I talked with daniC at the Zt vs Unioto game there are a lot of teams this season who are literally only 5-6 deep but are very good teams ... Coach Cozart's Bulldogs compare well with the top teams in SEOhio ... I'll see them again Friday night to see more of how they respond to good perimeter scorers in Kearns/D'Augustino, the overall strength of Alexander as a team AND 6-10 in the paint ...

Oak Hill lost today up in Canton. Lost by 12 to a good team

Just talked to a friend of mine that went to the game, as Ironman 92 already reported they lost 58-46 to Triway, a Div-2 school out of Wooster witch had a 11-2 or 12-2 record.

Alex is such a tricky and difficult match-up. That's what makes watching them fun. I like to see how different teams try and attack them.

I'm thinking we will have another good crew assigned to the game, so a little physicality can be expected without repercussion. That may help Athens & Butcher a little, but not much. 6'10 is 6'10, even if Butch pushes Terry around a little, he's still tall enough to recover & block shots.

Its gonna come down to Athens converting mid range jumpers & threes. They shoot well from the outside, they have a great chance. They dont, be very difficult to win.

... sounds like Norm took them North again to get them ready for the post season ... if I'm not mistaken Oak Hill has done this for a number of years (go to Canton area for a game during this time of the year AND on a Sunday) ...
