Man Whiteoak has had several heartbreaking losses. Back to back ones.

Good win for Coach Carson and Lynchburg

FU up double digits most of the game, up 20 at one point. 4th period LE starts hitting everything from everywhere and it ends up only a 4 pt win for FU.
LE also started pressing and I think that forced FU out of their comfort zone. I'm surprised LE doesn't press more with them being undersized in every game at least the press plays to their speed and makes things difficult for bigger teams.

From Central Ohio that may of be of interest-

Grandview Hts goes to 14-5 (6-4 in League) with a huge win over Whitehall 59-56- Whitehall was 7-1 in league play and looking to take a 2 game lead into the last 3 games. Grandview Hts led at all stop 20-10, 26-21, 46-42 and 59-56 Final. Whitehall won the earlier season meeting 56-44. Whitehall's over record goes to 11-7.
Grandview was coming off a big win over Buckeye Valley 65-44 on Friday avenging the 65-45 loss they took at Buckeye Valley earlier in the season. Buckeye Valley record after it loss to Grandview Hts is 12-4.

Not sure of the point of throwing West M's record in, especially when you don't know it.

That must be a misprint as far as Oak Hill and River Valley is concerned. They did play earlier in the season at OH and OH won a pretty lopsided game by maybe a score of 43-15 or maybe 43-16. They were not scheduled to play tonight.

Dumb question, but was curious: is the young man from BV who landed on his head against Wellington earlier this year cleared to return? Or for that matter, can he ever play again?

Yep, he’s a stud. Already their all time leading scorer, did so about 5 games into this season.

They have another junior who had something like 6 putback dunks this past weekend lol
Looks like a strong kid...

Very good team. CNE had a very good big man last year or so ,but; his surrounding cast wasn't that good.
I've got to give Fairfield credit for scheduling this Blanchester squad. Blanchester won tonight. Don't know the final.

CN E has the Schmitz kid who is 6'8" or do,s junior and is being scouted by D1. The Blanchesters Sipple is supposedly being scouted by Huggins.

My understanding is he done for the year but should be able to play next year. He is a Sophomore this year and is with the team. Its sounds as if he is very fortunate that the head injury did not permanently disable him. His last name is Scowden I believe.
