I’m maybe the worst person to chime in here. What am I going to think? Logan Elm by 59? Lol.

No matter what anyone says the kids will have to step up and execute and coaches will have to adjust and do their thing.

I couldn’t have been more impressed with Logan Elm and my eyes say no way Athens can win. But I’ve only watched Athens 2x and LE once. If Athens plays the same as the two times I watched them....little to no chance. If LE plays well I don’t think they can lose this game.

Trainer won’t have open 3’s that he can drain while set. Whiting will be guarded tightly and Markins will have to have his best game with Sailor on him.

Maybe LE isn’t hitting much and Athens 3-2 zones them. Maybe Ward gets into foul trouble...maybe they make the mistakes they did during Liberty Union game.

No one knows. Good luck to both teams of kids.

For what I’ve witnessed I can’t see Athens winning, but again, I’m wrong all the time.

I’ll guess:

Logan Elm 62
Athens 52

Safe travels for Athens

... is THIS the Logan Sectional 93dog ?!!!! LOL ... I congratulate both teams on making the trip to play THIS game at the Roundhouse - a deserving award for the paths both teams had to take this season in the 1st post season of the Super Sectional era in SEO ... although I obviously would like to see more teams from D2 at the Convo - it did make for some great Sectional finals - sure made pfloyd have to make decisions as to WHERE to go though!!! I only made it the Logan sectional for 1 night of action - THAT in itself is a "saaay what ????!!!!" ... but it's Convo time now - looking forward to seeing THIS matchup !!! Logan Elm IS Logan Elm ... while I have to give props to Coach Cozart for successfully putting his Bulldogs back together after being handed "the issue" a few weeks back - the TEAM has stepped up collectively to find a way to get it done - well done Coach Cozart & the Bulldog TEAM ... no way I'm predicting anything! especially after watching this years sectional play LOL ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN and HAS !!! LOL ...

Athens, Warren, Logan Elm ... would have never happened without super sectional. Good call, Floyd.

As much as I hate to say it, but THIS is a game Butcher would have helped tremendously. If LE plays tight man to man, I have a hard time believing they have a player who could handle Butch on the block. That could have, would have been the no. 1 option & bailout play when things tighten up on the offensive end.

Athens wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for New Lexington if we are being completely honest.

I think Logan Elm wins this by 25 so I fully expect Athens to win by 20. And then Raider to call for me to defend my honor in the Parking lot. Wait that might be an Alexander thing .....

Jokes people. Just jokes.

Be safe on the trip in Athens!

I saw nothing in Sheridan that impressed me, which is why New Lex beat them by double digits. I'm fully confident Athens would have given them a game & no reason to think they couldnt have won.

I must've missed something a couple weeks ago....what happened to the Butcher kid? Sorry in advance of it's been talked about and I just didn't see it. Also I don't remember Butcher causing LE serious issues last year at Logan when Athens beat LE.

I just wanted to get In the game and pull Athens chain a little. If Ironman was in a better frame of mind he would have already done it.

I kept waiting for:

Warren beat the 1 seed to make it
Logan Elm beat the 2 seed to be here
Waverly beat the 4 seed to be here.

And Athens beat The 11 and 14.

Just trying to give you bulletin board material.

You’ve been very nice.

So I’m picking up the slack.

I hope they know I really don’t care. This board needs a little more fun and banter.

Not the “this kid or coach sucks” stuff. But you know.

I banned one last night. Other mods did as well. Board needed some cleaning - especially after the Unioto loss

He was/is a much improved player this year. Dropped weight, stayed in the paint more. He was scoring 20 pts, grabbing 10 boards a game.

And some of it is fine.

This board has become better because of you and Swanker Pine and others who have tried and have a little fun without degrading people.

Oh what the heck ....

Logan Elm 63
Athens 35.

My bad. But I was factoring in the travel and the haven’t played in the Convo before BS that gets said.

Logan Elm 60
Athens 32.

32 has a ring to it.
