Haven't seen the Cavaliers play this year, but keeping North off the glass with a minimum of putbacks will be critical if CHS is to move on to the next round. Getting off to a good start by CHS is always a help in tournament play. Chillicothe played a competitive non-conference schedule, including #1 Cincinnati Moeller, so the Cavaliers know they have to raise their level of play.

My co-worker is a Pick Central band dad. We talk about a lot of sports, especially high school. I still remember the look on his face when I told him “that time Fisher Catholic beat Pickerington in football...” Never mind that it was 1979!

I just retired last year but had a lot of co-workers and friends whose kids went to various private, parochial and public schools throughout the metro area and there was enough ribbing, jabbing and arguments over athletics in those 30 years to last a lifetime. I sorta miss the camaraderie.
