Open Job - Alexander

Post by Mission15 »

Looks to be a major rebuild, did Kerns step away on his own? Who will Alexander look to target?

Maybe contact Swanky Pete. He's rumored to be looking for a bandwagon to jump on, and he's a basketball expert, just ask him. :o

How do you have a 10 year old account with only 54 posts and 30 of them are talking about dookie?

D’Augustino is a stud and quite the piece to be able to build around for a new coach

However, they are graduating a lot, so the first couple of years could be rough.

Looks like it was a few years late--maybe should have done this back in 2016??? Just saying!!

Can't say this is surprising. Coach Kerns brought some good things to the basketball program, but had to see he was going to see it through until this class graduated. Would not be shocked to see several of the same staff be brought back for next year minus the dads.

Go Alex.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they target someone from Jackson boys staff or go for Vinton County girls Coach Bentley both programs are hot right now and both programs are close in location.

I'd be shocked if they did anything other than post the job and interview the people that apply.

Heard Hill did not want the job. Interesting how quick Alexander posted the job too?

Jackson coaches.....only one even makes some sense. 3 assistants are a 0 chance and Coach Morrow no. Freshman coach makes some sense but he’s an administrator at Jackson and I’d say very unlikely at best.

I did hear that JV Coach Jon Ervin wants the job but Jackson will not release him from his JV coaching position because he is irreplaceable.
