If I remember correctly Cozart quit his Jr year in the preseason. Also, Howdee talked him out of playing football. Kid would have been one of the best receivers in school history if he would have played.

Sometime early 70's... Maybe 73 or 74

I know he was at Eastern same time as the Jene and Jaye Myers at Symmes Valley and Mark Swain was at Hannan Trace.

had to be earlier. I was there 72-73 academic year and he was long gone. I'd guess closer to 68-69 or 69-70.

Eich graduated in 72 and was a beast. (A year after Howie Caldwell , the current Trimble coach. Eastern had some good basketball teams back then with the Boring's, Holter's, Karr's etc .)

I have to agree. That young man was amazing to watch. He could pull up from anywhere on the court and hit a shot.

They haven't been worth a tinkers darn since Howie left. That man was Eastern basketball. But, the talent dried up so he moved on to greener pastures.
