Wellston played Akron SVSM when LeBron was there. Believe it or not Wellston didn’t lose. The electric went out and the game was suspended at halftime. Coach Derrow wouldn’t take any calls from Akron area code because he didn’t want to finish the game. LeBron was a good sport.

They always had good teams at that invitational in Wellston

At the time best faced brigham waginger at south Webster... scary fast hands...very high bb IQ
Also played against OJ Mayo , but only in pre junior high
