Waverly with a well balanced attack last night as they rebound from the Tuesday loss to Wheelersburg with a 65-42 win at Northwest.

Robertson leading all scorers with 22 as he nears the 1,000 career points plateau.
Big night out of Brown and Futhey with 16 and 14 points while Wheeler added 10.

Waverly hosts Minford tonight with one of their make up games.

Next Tuesday with Valley is postponed.
Tigers will be at Eastern on Wednesday, at home Friday against West and hosting Heath on Saturday.

These are the types of scoring nights that will put Waverly over the top. Robertson with 35 and the next closest at 6-8 is only gonna take them so far. But 22 then 16 and 14 and 10 is impossible to stop because you still have the threat of Trey going for 30. Nice job

Doubt it would happen before the draw with us. We only need one more and I think will be looking to add during that week off that was just added before the tournament.

If we aren’t in the same side of the district, I’d love to see that be our 22nd game.

Agree, he’s not pushing to score huge numbers every game but gets it anyways most games.

I think this is their year for the longest tourney run...I think next year they are very good obviously but not quite as good and Trey will hit 50 a time or two.

One milestone at a time.
Does anyone know what Denny Thompson's total is?
Teresa Campbell broke it in 1999-2000
And of course Jake Krezter broke Thompson's for the boys' record and later Campbell's for the school record.
Right now we just to win games and get a good seed in the tournament

Yep, focused on winning one at a time and a top 3 seed. Right now the top 2 is pretty much in concrete and Waverly/Hillsboro 3/4, flipping those two depending on who you talk to. I think Waverly's wins and strength of schedule is a little better than Hillsboro.

Tigers claw their way back from 16 down tonight to win 67-55.
Oak Hill with lights out shooting in the 1st half with 7 threes in the first half and 10 for the game.
Waverly defense picked it up to cut the deficit to 6 at the break and after a back and forth 3rd to cut to 2, turned up the pressure in the 4th to outscore the Oaks 22-8 to win it going away.

WAVERLY SCORING
Robertson 25 (12/13)
Wolf 12 (8 second half - 7 steals)
Brown 11 (8 second half - monster 2 handed jam and harm with 2:11 in the game to put the Tigers up 64-51)
Wheeler 8 (2 threes)
Stulley 7 (all in the 3rd - one 3 ball)
Futhey 4
Waverly was 12-25 FT’s (THIS HAS TO IMPROVE)

Hines 13 (2threes in the 1st and one in 3rd)
A Hall 12 (1 three in the 3rd)
Mullet 9 (one three in the 1st)
B Howell 8 (all first half - 2 threes in 1st)
