Other than a handful of teams we are pretty much in agreement and it’s still so early. We are like 25 spots off on Chesapeake...probably a happy medium between us.

You are more stubborn than I am but that probably a good thing.

I’m taking Manchester over Clay by 15+

Fort Frye beats Fairland.
Warren beats Fort Frye less than a week later!

Don't be intimidated by those accusing you of being a Maddox Homer ... Warren is still #1 on my big board, Floyd.

I'd definitively have Gallia above Meigs as well. They are about 15 pts better than the Marauders and proved it in the season opener.

That’s what I had when I put them down.

Agree Gallia over Meigs, buy several spots

93bulldog.....what are your thoughts on Athens/VC/Alex/Fed Hock? What order would you have them?

Such a great question I92 and we will find out real quick.

Athens Bulldogs
12/22 @ Meigs
1/5 Vinton County
1/8 River Valley
1/12 Marietta
1/15 @ Alexander
1/16 Trimble
1/23 @ Federal Hocking

If we are playing a pick up game at Grover Center i'd maybe hedge my bet on Fed Hock, just based off their size and athleticism and raw ability. But there is so much more to the high school game than that. How do you place a value on a team like Trimble? So gritty, so well coached, incredibility fundamentally sound. I would not be surprised if the 'Cats swept the Lancers this year - but I also would not be surprised if it went the other way. Vinton County is somewhat similar to Trimble, Matt is such a great game manager and he always has a team of BASKETBALL players who know and understand the game. I'd take Athens horses over the Vikes and definitely have the Dogs as favorites to win the Ohio, but you know how things go when you play in McArthur.

I had a question mark beside a score for Southern right after the RV game, Scorestream had them winning 57-46 vs the United ??? Peoples Front of Judea ? or maybe that was from Monty Python's Life of Brian - I get confused sometimes ... an easy fix

Sometimes scorestream will have the wrong gender, Floyd. Say it's boys basketball score and really be a girls game.

With Miller, Southern, Eastern being so down Fed Hock and Trimble going to have a lot of uncompetitive games. Waterford and Belpre aren’t strong this year either correct?

Is South Gallia in the Hocking now?

Howie was counting on Athens, Beasts of the Southeast, Coal Grove, Fed Hock x 2 and even Alexander as being his competitive games.

Gotta go to Waterford (traditionally tough)
* Only beat South Gallia by 10 at home. Going to CROWN CITY is always a Challenge.

Be interesting to see if he tries to pick up a solid opponent to replace the Beasts

Meigs is below Alex a good bit, even though they beat Alex by double digits?
