maxpreps has him at 828 points. He’s turned it up in the last few games
I wish him luck but that’s a long way to go

Such a shame we could not get 22 games in this year.

The 1,000 point club at Athens must be jinxed or is a bit of an enigma. Only three players have ever done it, but so many have come close.

It’s a lot more difficult to reach 1000 than people realize

VC/Athens postponed.........and once again pushed to the back of the schedule, 2/22. I mean, a quick look at Bulldog's schedules (and I know it may not be 100% updated in this crazy year) shows both teams have THIS Wed/Thur OPEN, as well as ! Was it even discussed? Again, we have 5 games to play. Even if it's not VC on any of our open dates, we still need to play RV, and after tomorrow, almost assuredly Wellston. I just don't get it.

FH at Eastern postponed until Friday. Will play a doubleheader starting at 5. No JV games. A doubleheader in a varsity game. Better have a deep bench lol

A gauntlet of games is on tap for the Federal Hocking Lancers this week as they try and make up games due to Covid. They begin a tumultuous stretch this Wednesday versus South Gallia, will play a rare doubleheader against Eastern Friday night starting at 5PM (no JV game). The team will get up and travel all the way to South Gallia for their 2nd match-up with the Rebels on Saturday, before playing a rare Sunday game against Southern. Six games - six days ... And after getting just two days rest, they will face league leader Trimble next Wednesday night in Stewart.

What a contrast in makeup game rescheduling philosophies between the Lancers and the Bulldogs. Kudos to them for trying to make it work when they have/had available dates and best of luck! That is definitely a scheduling gauntlet! I bet the kids are as pumped as can be about it too!

VC will have to deal with girls basketball tournament games as they will host all the way to the district final.
Athens is schedule to host Wellston tomorrow, that could be moved to Wed and then Athens is set to travel to NY on Friday, if they played on Thursday, it would be 3 consecutive games for the bulldogs and I don't think Athens would want to do that.

Kind of proving my point. By pushing most makeup dates to the back of the schedule, with the weather and more cancellations, they just might be forced to do something like that whether they WANT to, or not. And as Bulldog pointed out, 6 games in 6 days for FH. Like I said, kids are young and competitive and probably looking forward to that stretch of games. Coach, most likely not.

You’re right, and kids are pretty durable. They can handle the six games in six days. If they weren’t playing, they would be at practice so not much different.
