Now that most teams a third of the way into the season, what are everyone’s takes on the teams, what players are surprising you, who’s having the roughest time with the pandemic? Simply put, what’s your thoughts?
I like Fairland stepping up to play very strong competition in preparation of the postseason and South Point looks to be working to be in the mix for a run that Dragons.

The dragons looked like they finally started to click again against the Panthers last night. If they continue South Point won’t be a issue. Porter is probably avg 25-27 ppg. Thomas is starting to hit again and Polcyn was pivotal in last night’s game. Schmidt needs to be their 6th man instead of Thacker. Couple promising looking freshman Leep,Thacker, and Allen. Dragons could still be contenders for the OVC next year after they loose 4 starting seniors. They will need a big to contend.

It's definitely Fairland's league to lose.
Ironton has nice athletes but their guards are young.
Chesapeake is still well coached but losing 2 starters to transfer at the beginning of the year hurt their chances of a possible league title.
South Point seems to be playing pretty well. Great player in Webb, good guard play mixed with some athletes. I still just don't think they have enough to knock off Fairland.
On a side note, props to Fairland for scheduling up and going to play some big schools in Columbus a couple weeks ago. That's what you should do when you have a great team - test them! Even if it means taking a couple losses. Those games will drastically help Fairland come tournament time.

Fairland is the team to beat at this point.
