Unless Fort is missing people, this won’t be close for much more then a half.

I have Caldwell’s record at 9-5 based off of the east district site. Fort is obviously the favorite, they’re senior dominated and playing at home and Caldwell is a year away. Fort controlled the first matchup from halftime on and won by 20. If Jett Lori and Kowalsky give Bede any help at all this time they could win this game. I think it will be closer than expected. That said, the Dudley boy was noticeably missing on Saturday and I’ve heard he quit the team.

... if FF were in the SE District they would be ranked in the top 3 in the Elite 8 rankings right now ... they are similar to Logan Elm - undersized, handle the ball well, move well without the ball, hard to pressure, solid/physical defense, get to the rim offensively and can kill you from the 3 point line ... excellent regular season being put together by the Cadets ...

Caldwell 49
Fort Frye 76
Final

Caldwell
Bede Lori 28
Jett Lori 5
Kowalski 14
King 2

Fort Scoring
Fogle 20
Nic Hart 11
Huffman 25
Owen Brown 8
Medley 5
Casey Brooker 6
Lipot 1

Cadets were just on fire all night. They got 4 guards that all shoot the 3 very well. Huffman was awesome shooting the ball but he did great on Bede. That was his career high. Knocked down 7 threes.

Wow, what a shooting display that was by Fort Frye. I really don’t think Caldwell played bad outside of not making shots in the first quarter. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team that on fire. Even the post player, #5 made one early. Impressive display by the Cadets, I believe Caldwell had it to 15 early in the 4th but that was as close as it got. Fort Frye is very good.

This is a bit of a throwback. We were really spoiled in the 90's, with scores in the 70's on a regular basis.

1989 avg 80/game. Had 5 players avg double digits. If this year's team was more efficient, i.e. less turnovers, they would avg more points.

Who was on that team? How far did they make it in the tourney?
