I like the list. Eastern Brown has earned that 1 spot.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I might take Waverly if these 8 teams were put together in a tournament.

Yeah I'd take Waverly

That would be one heck of a tournament, that's for sure.

Even though they haven't quite had the dominance they had last year, I wouldn't count out Fairland. Those kids are basketball kids and have won their entire life.

I still think I'd take Logan Elm or Eastern Brown over Waverly, but it's close... Robertson is just so talented.

I really wish Waverly and Adena were able to play last week. Adena is very good also. Bennett kid downlow is one of the smoothest post players I've seen in this area for awhile. Sykes a GREAT athlete. That game could have went either way.

They played 20 games and only missed 2 out of conference games. Was told they weren’t going to make up either.

... great night of hoops ! watched & did napkin stats on the Fairland vs Gallia Academy game ... watched the FU @ Round town ... and 3/4 of the Jackson vs Greenfield McClain game - CONGRATULATIONS Coach Morrow & the Ironmen on tying for the FAC title the first league hoops title for Jackson in 30 years !!! well done 9-1 in the FAC to tie Hillsboro ... the game wasn't as close as the score indicates - JHS dominated GM ... outstanding TEAM game - the Ironmen play a whole bunch, winning by committee for sure/ players who know their roles and play within themselves - well done !!! - pfloyd

Logan loses it's opening game at the Central District OCC sectional party ... traveling to Big Walnut the Chiefs lose in a tight game :

Logan 47
Big Walnut 49 a final ...

Chieftains only have 1 senior on the team ... everyone else comes back in 2021-22 ... one of those young teams that will make some noise next season ...

Tight! Logan kids play some good defense

... Chiefs will add some more size from the JV squad next season with 6-6 Pierce getting some PT to go with 6-6 Alford ... Tegan Myers made it back to play tonight scoring 10 points in the losing effort ... he should be full go again for his senior year ... Logan played 13 games this season - no league affiliation having teams on the schedule cancel games to allow them get their own postponed league games in ... THAT by itself will hurt the Chiefs - not playing the other 10 games on their schedule ...

Chesapeake 70
Coal Grove 78 a final

... the Peake was down 25+ at one point, battled back to get it to an 8 point disadvantage as time ran out ... I didn't do the napkin stats on this one but CG must have had 10+ three's in this one to open up the BIG lead in the first half & into the 3rd quarter ...

Pfloyd they hit 9 in 1st half and I know 1 in the 3rd. With all the adversity we have had this year the boys still don't quit.

It goes without saying, Pfloyds initial list of the elite 8 certainly had merit. One must take out one's emotion while analyzing YOUR team. Returning numerous starters doesn't always resonate to a winning season.
