... if there are edits that need to be made to the records PLEASE get those to me asap ... Covid makeups/weather postponements play havoc on trying to keep up with who played who and when - just as we have Federal Hocking who will have played 6 games in 6 days after they travel to Southern today for game #6 ... the Lancers of Coach Thompson played a Mr. Cub - Ernie Banks special the other day with their doubleheader vs Reedsville Eastern ... difficult season for sure trying to find continuity, consistency in TEAM with all of the covid "Q's" , postponements/cancellations ... my hat goes off to ALL of the TEAMs, Coaches, ADs across SEOhio in getting teams ready to go into Sectional Play this week ... I will be doing my final Elite 8 rankings this week - not going to include post season play in the rankings ... I get it , there are teams who will makeup some of the regular season games AFTER both teams are out of tournament play - sorry ... for YOUR part - I will be asking for your thoughts on Teams who have their core starters coming back next season, who do you think will be contenders for the Elite 8 coming back in 2021-22 ? start making YOUR lists!!! ... Pfloyd wishes ALL teams in SEO the best of luck in the post season ! ... the Road to the Convo is blocked off, under construction ... but the detour signs are out there - using Google Maps teams will work their way around SEO for sectional play, district semi final action trying to get to Southeastern High School for the District Finals and Regional play ... good luck ! going to miss doing game rundowns along the way ... going to miss meeting up with all of you - the fans of high school hoops in SEO ... as bball30/ Lou Horvath says "until we reconvene back at the Convo in 2022 ..." ... it will be even more special next year as we will remember what we are missing after THIS Covid 19 post season ...

Missing a win from Sheridan, finished 18-3. Closed the season with 11 wins where their average margin of victory was 20, including a 20 point win over the #1 seed in the East in Meadowbrook.

Whiteoak hammered Manchester last night so they are 13-8

West Union is 3-14

Sheridan has to be top 8

The Generals ARE playing outstanding basketball ... I'll correct the record for Sheridan ... would not be surprised at all to see Sheridan in the regionals ... they have players who KNOW what is like in district play, regional play - have cut down the nets in both! - Landon Russell/Nate Johnson AND I mentioned on another thread they have (Reed) Coconis "the younger" whose older brother(I'm assuming brother here) Costa Coconis was the starting PG on the Sheridan final 4 team a couple of years ago ... a coaching staff who KNOWS what it takes to get to the Show, a coaching staff who knows HOW TO PREPARE a team for what to expect along the road to the Show ... good luck to Coach Fisher/Coach Martens & the Generals ... I've never met Coach Fisher but seems like a good guy - 32 years coaching/28 as a head coach/6 as boys head coach ... I do know Coach Martens ! - he IS a good guy for sure as I was the assistant boys varsity golf coach at Logan when Wes was the assistant golf coach at Sheridan for Randy Miskell ...

I'll be interested in Norm Persin and Valley next year. I think they lose 2 starters but have a good group returning from what I've read.

I think year two...year one regionals with Love and then Ondera and Borden came from Jackson and rest is history

Yes sir a good week so far. Still work to do but it’s good to get some games in.
