Not starting anything, how long will Howie continue to coach? I thought Norm would have coached until they carried him out. What other coach has been coaching as long as these two?

Looking forward to hopefully an uninterrupted basketball season. Everyone stay healthy!!

As far as coaching tenures, Eugene Collins is entering his 13th season at PHS with an overall record of 181-105. His 13 years is the 2nd longest tenure in Portsmouth history.

Coach Arey here at Peebles has been coach for 10 years,I think this is his 11th season. I will look, but; I think he could hit the magical 200 win this season. Several long tournament runs have greatly added to his totals. Good luck this year Coach Arey. Oh, by the way, The Johnson, and Browning connection are both in high school now. Some nice players are learning under coach Arey this year.

I was wrong. Coach Arey was sitting at 198 going into last year. He started in 2009/2010 ,so this is his 12th year.his record is now 210 wins and 79 losses. His first 4 years were in DIll. Since the Peebles has been DlV.Not bad for a fairly young coach .
