... I was thinking the same thing Geronimo when I was typing it - rematch of last years post season matchup ... going to be fun to watch ! The U will be playing youngsters along with Park & Branson (the U has some solid youngster coming off of their JV squad) ... the U has #3 Logan on 12/3 followed by #2 ZT on 12/7 before playing top 8 Gallia Academy 12/30 ... solid month of hoops competition for the Shermans for sure. Will Clary be back from his reported football injury?

As much as I hate to say it, Fairland should be the highest rated OVC School until proven otherwise (aka beat by an OVC school). I think they’ve only lost 2 games in the last 6 seasons if I’m not mistaking? They don’t rebuild, they reload.

No love for the Lancers huh Pfloyd lol? They are gonna be pretty good. They have size and depth and really athletic. I look for the Lancers be be a steady climber in the rankings. Key players to watch IMO opinion Soph. PG Tariq Cottrill, Senior wingman Lane Smith, Sr Center Tyler Rogers and Soph guard Andrew Airhart. They are younger than they have been in a couple years but just as talented as the past two years. It’s a great time of year, can’t wait for the games to begin.

... believe me JC I WANTED to give them love but the Lancers lost soooooo much last season due to graduation ... lots to prove on the offensive end of the floor trying to replace 90% of the offense - Hunter Smith,Nathaniel Massie, Elijah Lucas to start with ... Rogers has size for sure - hopefully he has improved on the offensive end of the floor ... I will definitely be watching them this season to see how the shoes are being filled in Lancer Land ...

I agree, they have to prove it. They have looked pretty good in the scrimmages so far. Kids trying to find their rolls and filling some big shoes. Tyler Rogers is much improved. He was coming back from a torn Achilles last year and never looked 100%. He will have to be solid for the Lancers to climb in the rankings. Hopefully you can make it to Lancerland to catch a game. The non conference schedule is pretty tough this year. Athens, Alex, Fairland, Peebles, Marietta, Crooksville, FCA, Glennwood and Wellston. That should be a good measuring stick for the Lancers.
