SE District Teams All Time Records

Post by trojandave »

Interested to see a list of SE district schools all time records.......I know Jason Vorhees quite often posts a lot of info about various records of SE teams.

Here is the Portsmouth Trojans all time record in various categories:

All time record: 1,476--805 unofficially 10th all time in Ohio for wins (some schools have not updated figures)

19 times have won at least 20 games in a season
45 times have won at least 15 games in a season
33 times have won at least 17 games in a season
84 times have won at least 10 games in a season
80 winning seasons since 1913
Only 1 losing decade in school history: 2000-2009: 100-121
14 Conference Championships

Tournament Records and How Portsmouth Ranks in the Entire State/All Divisions: Approx.800 schools

Tied for 4th in most state tournament appearances: 15
Tied for 5th in most state championship game appearances: 8
4th in most state tournament games played: 27
Tied for 4th in most state tournament games won: 16 (overall record 16-11)
Tied for 5th in most Final 4 wins: 12 (overall 12-7)
Tied for 7th in most state championships: 4
8-1 in last 9 state semifinal games

17 times have advanced to the regional final (overall record 11-6)
7-2 in last 9 regional final games
37 district championships (1st in SE district)
64 sectional championships (1st in SE district)

Portsmouth is the last SE district school to have won a game in Final 4 play, that being a 74-66 win over Ottawa-Glandorf in the D3 2012 state semifinal. PHS lost the state championship game to Cincinnati Summit Country Day 53-37.
