Anxious to see what Ironton has to offer. Wilson + Porter is a great backcourt duo and Ironton always has athletes around them. The problem is I'm not sure who plays post for Ironton and if they can handle Clary of Gallia -- which isn't an easy task for any team.

Ironton might be able to pressure them and turn them over but I still think Gallia wins this game by 8-10.

Ironton can be pretty decent. Lots of ball handling and athleticism. Shot it well tonight, if they keep that up they’ll have a good year.

Gallia had better players overall.

I believe Shaun Terry, Judiah Barnes and Braden Schreck are playing on the Varsity Team.

The JV Team is all Freshmen but 1.

Thanks ohbuckeye2, I ask because I'town had a very nice 8th squad last year that I got to watch via livestream ... watched them vs Fairland - which had some quality players heading for the high school as well ... BOTH will have some "players" working their way into playing time at the next level ...

The changes Coach Barnes made at half was the difference in this game. He took Barnes off fronting the big guy and put Perkins behind him in the second half. Perkins can sky and made a bunch of steals when they tried to go inside. The big man wasn't getting that easy layup on the second half.
