Jackson @ Miami Trace 12/7

Post by 3rd String »

Season opener for the Ironmen, Game number 4 for the panthers. Both teams looking for their first win of the season and their first league win. Thoughts?

I will take the Ironmen on the road, 54-43. Both teams have youth and inexperience, but I'm siding with the culture and leadership that Coach Morrow has created to prevail over first year MT coach Ben Ackley.

Jackson should be able to wear MT down with their physicality. They have plenty of strong bodies to try and push the 6'8" MT kid off the block and away from the rim.

I like Jackson in a 52-38 type of game.

I’m a little worried Miami trace might be a little more polished due to the fact they’ve already had a couple real games under their belt. I’ll say it’s gonna be a close one

Winters is the only starter

Evans played a few JV minutes 2 years ago….he’ll have to play

Ervin a 7 or 8 man and gives up about 10 inches….he won’t back down though

Bragg and Spires were always big physical players against MT. I think we need Winters to avoid foul trouble and someone has to hit some shots, hopefully Woodard and Blankenship total about 25. Campbell probably the difference maker this evening. Jackson 48-43

Good post snd anxious to follow you n PFloyd….Ironmen are scrappy. That makes up for the 4games MT has played. Need some kids to step up this year snd make a name for their selves. Opportunity is there and knockin on a few of their doors. Embrace it.
GET BETTER tonight. Find a little something out about yourselves that you didn’t know you had. No spires. No Bragg seniors. Last go round. Play every one like it’s your last cause trust me the last one is coming. And coming quick.
Jacob Winters. The first chance you can stick an elbow in that 6’8 kid blow the air outta of him. Not dirty. Heavens no nothing cheap. You got a foul to give and that be a good tone setter from opening tip. let it be known early n quick who the man is gonna be under the rim tonight. Go Get Em Boys 💪💪💪
