I really thought last year's Malvern team was supposed there really good team, but there back at it again,my Hawks my seem to have there number lately in tournament play,who ever makes it out of the East District tournament, should be really battle tested

Caldwell getting beat like they did by Trimble last night was shocking to me. Caldwell has to get better on the defensive end IMO

Right now River and Malvern look to be the top teams, but you can’t count Hiland out. They always find a way to win come tournament time.

I agree they need to improve defensively. They led this game at halftime and were down 3 starting the 4th to an outstanding team and ran out of gas. When Trimble got the lead they spread the floor and took the air out of the ball and made FT‘S like you’d expect a veteran team who’s made back to back regionals do. Looking at it from the bleachers I was surprised they didn’t use some of the matchup zone they like but they didn’t. The five upperclassmen they play were fine defensively, the two freshmen struggled which you’d expect against a team like Trimble.

Kowalsky getting in foul trouble changed that game. I also don’t think you’ll see Jett Lori shoot 0-10 or more from three very often, he had a tough night. I’m obviously a Redskin fan, my son played for them but they are very good and obviously so is Trimble.
