Crazy matchup

I’ll take Peake and their team of guards….as Roberts goes for 33

This will be another test for the Peake's size.

Really like this late-season pickup for Webster. Road game against a decent D3 team always a good going into the tourney. Both teams coming off wins tonight, but Peake had much tougher game in their win over Gallia Academy. Should be a fun matchup. Peake have streaming?*

Roberts didn’t have a very good game tonight. off the bench, didn’t play much but first game back in awhile. Didn’t really need him out there though we handled business fairly easy getting down the lane at will against beaver tonight.

Haven’t heard much about Peake this year but looking forward to a good non conference game against someone not from the little soc.

Webster's size could give Peake some problems but Peake's guard play / speed will give South Webster some problems. Some odd matchups going both directions.

Chesapeake is a tough place to play. This was a really good add by both teams if you ask me. A great road test for the D4 Jeeps. Win or lose it definitely helps with tournament preparation.

Peake with the 57-52 win. Not a bad effort at all by the Jeeps on the road against a solid D3 team. They'll get more out of that loss than they got from most of their other nonconference games this year.*

I posted in the daily game thread but wow. The JV game was horrid. Varsity game 2/3 of the zebras were fine. Good showing by Roberts Collins and carpenter getting them baskets down low.

Swanker: How did Roberts look on the ankle? No need to push him too much with tourney game not until next Friday, but hopefully he getting back to 100%.*

He looked 100% to me. Chesapeake didn’t really have an answer for him on the boards or when he drove to the basket except to put him on the floor or hack. He came off the bench and was instant offense. Made some good decisions tonight when he figured out he’s 8 inches taller than anybody on Peake lol.

I believe he probably finished with 20-25pts. Carpenter and Collins probably 12 apiece. I think TZ may have had 6-8 and Bender probably 6-8. Most of the 2nd quarter had TZ, Bender, and Collins on the bench with foul trouble

Peake is a scrappy, athletic team! Great experience for both teams in this game especially before the tournament.
