D3 Regional Semifinal: Fairland vs Africentric

I think people are just meaning Africentric isn't loaded with college D1/D2 caliber athletes like years past. Still a good team, I get it, but not as loaded athletically as years past maybe?

I don't know about top to bottom of the roster but Dailyn Swain is a 6'7 junior wing with an Ohio State offer and a top 70 in the nation ranking while Dan Wagner is a senior 1000 point scorer who I believe is going to a MAC school on a football scholarship. I hope Fairland wins this, two excellent teams.

Once a Dragon always a Dragon but I think the tourney run ends against the Nubians . Once our local teams get to this spot , the talent level jumps up a couple notches , along with height ! Fairland goes up against a team with a somewhat talented big man , its over . Hopefully the Dragons keep it respectable , I say Nubians by 17

Agree with you. The 2020 dragon team wins and goes to the final four IMO, but that team got screwed by Covid in the elite 8. This team is not as sound as former dragon teams. Don’t hit the cutters as well n not make the extra pass like former teams. Still one heck of a team and season they have had.. gonna make a run the next few years. Whether people like it or not, coach speed has created a culture the last 12 years! Good luck dragons. You’ve had a great season no matter what happens!

They have an Ohio state recruit on their team. When they lost to Huntington they had 2 starters out. They are just as good as usual!

Not as good as usual? 22-5 Beat Bishop Ready, Beechcroft, Dublin Coffin, split with walnut ridge. Lost to pick central, hilliard bradley, walnut ridge, Huntington wv, huber heights wayne by 3.
