Pfloyd's official UN-official Napkin Stats - Caldwell

Scoring ... Bede Lori 31, Tyce Devolld 17, Carter Wheeldin 12, Ethan Crock 6, Alex Herlan 4, Garrett Brown 2
3 Pointers ... 4/8 ... Bede Lori 3, Ethan Crock 1
FTs ... 22/28 ... Bede Lori set a new record for the most FTs made in a row 69 ... missed the attempt at 70 ... made next 9 to start his next streak
TOs ... 25
PnP ... 13 fgs/ 26 points in the paint
PnT ... 6 fgs/12 points in transition
Pbk ... 3 fgs/ 6 points on putback buckets

... excellent game to watch from the cheap seats! ... Federal Hocking lost this one BUT they are a very good TEAM, lots of very good pieces - size in the paint, solid perimeter play - ball handling/perimeter scoring from 3 point land, perimeter players who can get to the rim and finish - I liked what I saw from the Lancers ... but for a couple of possessions when they had a chance to take the lead or tie - turnovers kept them from getting off a shot both times - Caldwell followed with either a bucket or got to the line with Lori who is automatic (14/15) ... FH can beat anyone they play this season with the makeup of their lineup/ no quit court presence imo ...

Not bad. Tallying wins with ease just makes the record sound great. Might cost them a spot or two in seeding but should help tournament chances deep.

Yeah well they can go ahead and lose a bunch of games but we’d rather be 22-0 and lose in the tournament than 15-7 and lose in the tournament. No one remembers the coach or team that went 15-7 but everyone knows the coach that went 22-0. Almost every team loses in the tournament anyway.

Agree, Federal Hocking plays hard, with balance on the offensive end and intensity on the defensive end. I don’t see all that many losses in their future.

Seems to be a trend developing in 2022-23. Federal Hocking struggling to beat teams or coaches with the name Caldwell involved.
