Great move! This allows for the smaller schools to play against the smaller schools. It allows the bigger schools to compete against their talent level and allows the schools who aren’t really good enough to play with the big dogs to play for championships. It’s about the kids not the adults.

I mean SOC1 likely to be dominated by Webster most years, SOC2 still Burg most years, SOC3 Eastern most years.

Is this fact or your thoughts on it? This looks more like a good middle ground

Could South Gallia be the 6th team in the middle group?

Not a bad idea, especially in basketball.

Would there be any chance that those divisions could be flexible as well?

Good move in my eyes. 9 team leagues with 16 game conference schedules are too big. This allows for a smaller conference schedule, with flexibility for adding more teams as time goes on. Games could still be scheduled across divisions obviously to help fill schedules.

The football piece is intriguing but a lot of stuff at play. I really think a league of Ironton, Wheelersburg, Waverly, Gallia, West, plus 1 more (Portsmouth? Fairland?) that allows the Rock Hills and Northwests of the world a path to winning a league would be good for both conferences, as both are dealing a lot of the same problems. We will see though.

I’d personally Swap green for Symmes Valley. They’re pretty decent most years.

ISJ going to demand SOC3. Ashland and Cabell Midland will prepare them for it.
