Very big win for the Ironmen, especially on the road against a very good team in WCH. Hopefully a big confidence builder going forward.

So what was the story in this game? Poor shooting from Washington vs great from Jackson? Bad effort from Washington again? This one surprises me.

Jackson was somewhere around 10/15 from the 3 for a large part of the game….great shooter’s gym. Jackson was patient and took great shots most of the night and WCH took a lot of really tough shots. WCH quicker but Jackson just played harder and better basketball. Jackson had several long possessions with great shots to finish them. Jackson freshman are getting up to varsity speed.

Honestly, not overly shocked. Washington just isn’t very consistent and Jackson is quickly improving. Very good road win for the Ironmen.

Washington was also without the services of 2 starters, Raleigh and Isaiah Haithcock.

Still a great win for Jackson, but the Lions definitely missed both of them tonight. Raleigh has been out for a couple weeks, so they've gotten used to not having him, but this is the first game without Isaiah after he got hurt Tuesday night against Bishop Ready.

That is a sizable loss for the Blue Lions, especially on the toughness end with those two.

... great observation I92 ... as I watched the Warren youngin's tonight (8 sophs) THIS exactly what I said to myself - the youngsters are fitting into the varsity game - the physicality (no longer sitting back and "taking it" they are dishing it out, they aren't timid anymore, they look like they belong playing varsity now) ... the confidence levels are sky high ... no hesitation in shooting the ball now ... taking it to the rim hard, with purpose ... it is fun to see young teams become "seasoned veterans" LOL ok maybe not veterans BUT they "get it" now and it shows ... congratulations to Coach Morrow and the Ironmen! BIG time W vs Washington - shaking things up in the rankings they are ! VC losing to Wellston?!! ... Warren played 10 players vs Marietta in a great game - Marietta is much much improved over past teams ... it's fun to watch GOOD basketball !!! ...
