Jackson 36

All 5 Minford starters scored in double figures and sit most of the 4th. Very balanced team win on offense and defense.

The Ironmen with two back to back very tough games against Miami Trace and Minford. Not surprised that Minford won, maybe a little bit by the margin.

Watched the Ironton burg game , I get so sick of the dribble, pass ,dribble, pass, dribble, pass . They don't give you points to dribble ,pass. Burg has two players who can create there own shoot and they are freshman I believe. If the Burg wants to win , don't dribble , pass.

I couldn't find a Belpre/Caldwell score, even on the local news. Perhaps they didn't play but not 100% sure.

That's the first Minford game I've seen in person this year, and I was impressed. Their aggressive traps were troublesome for Jackson, and they wanted every rebound that kicked off a rim. Minford's overall energy level, and movement on the floor was VERY good. Kudos to them on a decisive win.

Jackson's schedule is no walk in the park... if they keep learning and gaining tough experience points over the next month, they could be a tough out for a lot of teams come tournament time.
