Lancers don't have a deep bench and will be playing 3rd game in 5 days, but it's in Stewart.

Paint Valley @ Lucasville Valley ... D4 vs D3 ... Valley dropping a big game last night vs South Webster ... the Indians 0-2 on the week after losing to Minford on Tuesday night as well ...

Jackson @ Minford ... Jackson has to be the most "tested" team in the SE district - of late beating Washington CH ,beating Alexander, losing to Miami Trace by 13 last night @ Trace ... tonight playing at Minford?!!! Coach Morrow and his staff have done an outstanding job of bringing along the freshmen to fit into an already excellent defensive TEAM (because that's what JHS does plays outstanding D to start with) ... the youngsters aren't youngsters searching for where/how they fit into the varsity game - they KNOW they belong and can play with anyone ... what bigger/better barometer game than to go on the road to play the #1 team in the SE district in the Falcons of Coach Shoemaker ... win/lose with the schedule that Jackson has played, is playing there are "teachable moments" everywhere! talk about giving a young team a chance to learn! - perfect ...

Marietta @ Federal Hocking ... the Lancers of Coach Thompson/Coach Tolson are tied with Fairfield Leesburg with the longest current win streak in SEOhio - 13 straight W's (Fairfield is 13-0)... Marietta is a much improved, solid, hungry to win playing vs SE Ohio teams as opposed to being in the ECOL vs the Dovers, New Phillys' of the basketball world ... first year coach Coach Gardner with support from Assistant coach/former Marietta head coach from 2000-2006 Coach Ron Warner is doing an outstanding job for the Tiger Program - it goes nowhere but UP imo ... a BIG game for Federal Hocking at home playing the D2 Tigers - just the first of a home and home with Marietta ...
