Defense wins 'ships ... the Nubians had the makeup to run a halfcourt offense - get looks, knockdown threes ... AEC also has that "next gear" the quickness, speed at every position to "get to" another part of the game - the transition game - that quick strike offense out of their defense that can turn a game into a helter skelter track meet, 6-8 point change on the board - separation ... separation in the post season is like "gold", you force the opposition to speed up, take shots that they normally would pass up for BETTER shots ... separation with the defense to keep the separation and offense to match any "run" by the opposing team - start the buses ... Africentric 46 South Point 27 after 3 ... Coach Wise's Pointers picked up their first win of a quarter in the final period of action ... Africentric really wanted to push the pace and play with tempo. Once they started to force turnovers in the 2nd half they were able to do that. Swain with the ball in his hands on the fast break is hard to stop. His passing impressed me as much as his scoring ability.
