Logan hires long time assistant Rich Bell as new head coach

Congrats to Coach Bell! Former HC at Northridge and Watkins as well as an assistant at Granville and Logan. He is a 1980 graduate of LHS as well and you can see the passion he has each night on the bench. He will be a great leader for the Chiefs.

Congratulations to Coach Bell!
It isn’t an easy place to win, but by having an alumni with lots of experience on the bench take over is a good start.

Congratulations on the hire ! Nice to see some schools rewarding a long time coach who’s paid his dues. Many schools, Not so much.

Congratulations to Coach Bell on the hire as the Logan Head Basketball coach ... knows the X's and O's as well as anyone ... has been at the top of programs as the Head Coach in the past at Johnstown Northridge and Watkins Memorial ... has seen/been a part of the Logan "system" for 7 years as an assistant , knows what will be needed to compete in the OCC ... good choice, good opportunity ... seamless transition into the summer - TEAM building ... Go Chiefs!!! ...

... Coach Bell met with next years 9-11 graders today ... and they're off !!! the Coach Bell era is off and running ...

I would coach under Coach Bell in a heartbeat but no I’m not “jonesing” I like officiating and my job wouldn’t allow the time needed at Logan or anywhere else

He has a cousin named Jimmy that I think will join him.
