Meigs over The Peake 50-47. Down 13 and made a run. Missed a three at buzzer to tie. 4th quarter had some missed calls and a call that was big when a Peake player was elbowed to head and got a foul called on him.
Peake missed several free throws and shots but played hard to the end. Meigs likes to slow the pace.

Missed calls went both ways and didn't determine the game.
Meigs of course slowed it down when they had a 10+pt lead but for a team who presses 90% of the game, not sure how that's liking to slow the pace?
Credit the 2 freshman who stepped up and led in scoring for Meigs in the absence of 2 vital senior starters.

Meigs slowed down the pace to protect the lead, their boys were tired playing Friday night and then a two hour bus ride on Saturday. They have been hit hard by injuries losing a 20 plus scorer to a severe knee injury two weeks and another starter last week. They were led in scoring by two outstanding freshmen, and the rest played unselfish ball. Give the maroon and gold credit playing against the Panthers tough physical defense
