Who is “HIM” in the Week that IS? 1/15 -1/20/24

Post by pfloyd »

Trying to give props to all of the players across the SE District who had excellent performances each game night - win or lose! .... offensive or defensive performances! ... starters or off the bench! - players who had outstanding contributions to the TEAM effort ... I only get to 1 game per night - those players get recognized in my writeups BUT there are many, many, many players who deserve to be recognized for what they do for their teams nightly, on teams/games I don't get to - with your assistance WE can make this happen - thanks, pfloyd

Please post exceptional individual performer names/with school name & stat lines from the Week that IS (Monday 1/15 - Saturday 1/20/24 :

A bunch of players for Fairfield in their 56-50 OT win over Eastern Brown

They trailed 47-38 with 47.1 to play. Trey House (12 points) hit a 3, after a made FT by Eastern, Larkin Friend (12 points) with a driving layup, a steal by House led to a putback from Gabe Fouch (14 points) to cut it to 3. A turnover, then a foul on a 3 led to 3 FTs from Fouch to tie the game with 8.7 to play and force OT.

A massive letdown by Eastern, but also an unreal comeback by Fairfield to force OT and to stay undefeated.
