Copley 27 points

The Tigers just really struggle from the outside and that hurt them tonight. The freshmen are getting better and better though, a lot to be excited about even if the wins aren’t there right now.

Yeah that has been their biggest problem the last couple of games. Just no consistent outside shooting. I think they are something like 15-20% from three point line the past two games, and have at least 30 threes (roughly estimating). But they just have to keep shooting, teams are playing zone and they are getting good looks. It has been a long time since the Tigers have gotten a W, and it won’t get any easier the rest of the way. They are competing and are within arms reach of a lot of really good teams, but just can’t get over that hump. They need to take the next step of winning some of those games as the season finishes out before the tournament starts to get some momentum back.

Man Landyn Russell is a stud for waverly 14-15 years old not completely sure and doesn’t need to take 10 dribbles to get a bucket the kid can just score and make many very tough shots and he’s done this again and again, percentage wise for waverly he has to be the best outside shooter and probably the best percentage overall with Nibert being in a little slump from what I’ve seen I don’t watch a lot of the tigers but everytime I do Russell seems to always be the real offensive threat the freshmen are all looking good tho and when Kage Alexander comes up to run the one the next few years Waverly might just end up the best in league play because that kid is the best 8th grader in the area and I don’t see it as a debate.
