The #s Speak for Themselves on the SOC vs. OVC This 2023-2024 Season

The numbers speak for themselves on who was the better conference this 2023-2024 season....

18 total games played between the all SOC teams and the OVC, with the SOC coming out on top with 11 wins, including 3 district semifinal wins.
(Chesapeake & Gallia Academy did not play any SOC teams)

The SOC III was 8-2 vs. the OVC.
SOC II was 2-1 vs. the OVC
SOC I was 1-4 vs. the OVC

I’d imagine next year should look similar. I know the top 3 SOC teams return the majority of their starting lineups & their leading scorer, minus Burg losing DL.

Good breakdown hard to fight the numbers especially when talking tournament time probably why it’s a little quiet on the topic.

Excellent work putting this together. As I already stated, I was wrong. The SOC was clearly stronger this year.
