Malvern really hurt themselves with poor FT shooting and some quick, poor shots at critical times, but they did enough. Smith was really good for them late, making 3 driving layups to maintain a lead.

Lintz was ridiculous. What a pleasure to watch him. He made a shot by throwing the ball over his head with his back to the basket! Plus, he has the best mustache I've ever seen on a HS kid. Lol.

Malvern will need to play more sound to win the next one.

Congrats to NW, they’re going to be some would have and could have in this one. Outside of Bolin and Lintz no one was hitting the shot and #4 left wide open especially on those press breakers. Jenkins excellent defense but in the beginning of the game Malvern crashed the boards hard. Good game great season took a special team to get to that point

Great run Mohawks!!! Lintz is an absolute stud. Kid couldn’t have done anything more. Bolin had a great career as well. Jenkins gritty & underrated. This team was fun to watch.

Lintz is the man 70s porn stash and all. They shot over his head backwards was unreal. It was great to see and hear all the NW people cheering. I looked across the convo and it made me smile to see the students with HUGE numbers cheering on their home grown boys who played so hard

Wow! Such a great run.
This group has definitely left their mark on the program the school and the community. The support these boys have received is nothing short of amazing. You Absolutely could not ask for a better group of role models for the younger kids. It's truely been a blessing to watch this group of senior's grow into the youngmen that they have become. There is no doubt in my mind that they will be very successful in life. This has definitely been one of the hardest post that I have ever made on this site. I'm just so proud of them.
Thanks again everyone for your support.

Wow last night's game could have went either way, thought Northwest really battled with a really good Malvern team. Lintz carrying the load for them. There's no doubt how good this Northwest team was and the team chemistry they had. I've watched the Seniors play since their biddy ball days and they truly left their all out on the court. Congrats Northwest on a great season!

Mohawks battled to the end that's for sure. Great season and a great run! Good example for the young kids in attendance last night to maybe inspire them to want to play at the Convo and make it to the Regionals or beyond someday.

Loved the fact that the officials allowed both teams to play, although inconsistent at times. Once Malvern took the lead, they always had a response to what Northwest did offensively. They are very long and skilled across the board. Malvern played HARD off of the rebound and got into their press quickly. They used their length in half court and forced Northwest to keep the ball out of the middle. That makes it tough. Northwest still had their chances and just didn’t shoot it well overall.

Lintz is special. Bolin is special. When Scarberry gets kids like this, he’s proven time and time again that he gets the best out his players.

Hopefully, Malvern brings home a Regional Title. They have a really good starting 5.

Will Lintz be playing at the collegiate level next year? Football or Basketball?

I am super proud of our Northwest team. The support we have had from our students, faculty and staff and community has been incredible. Thank you all so much. Big crowds at the Convo, easily more than any other school and last night was no exception. 2 full student sections for a midweek game. Outstanding!

Last night, we ran into a team that limited us on the offensive end to one shot for much of the game. We had trouble rebounding the ball on the defensive end and just missed too many shots. It happens. Nothing for our young men to be ashamed of at all. They played hard and gave it their best shot. It has been my privilege to have Tanner Bolin, Jay Jenkins and Connor Lintz since they were in PS (except 7th and 8th grade) at Northwest in some capacity. Caleb Lewis who lives in the district came in later. All are fine young men and have wonderful families!!! They will do well in their next chapter of life. My hat is off to you and the entire team and coaching staff.

Malvern is long and athletic and that caused problems. Of course, when a team gets to this point in the season, you are not going to play poor teams. Congratulations to them on the win. Once again, thank you to this team for representing themselves, their school, families and community with class! Well done!

Very well said. The four Seniors are great athletes, but their better youngmen.
