Pfloyd is pulling up the tent and moving ... not sure IF Mrs. Pfloyd & myself will be staying in SEOhio or moving waaaay Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line making the big jump to North or South Carolina - time will tell ... we are looking at 3 properties this weekend in North Carolina before heading for South Carolina the following week ... Pfloyd's casa here in Logan will go live on the 24th of this month (pics will hit the internet/MLS) ...Open House on Sunday August 3rd ... after 43 years in Logan - it's time ... sooooo not sure where the Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio stands ... an out of state move would make it difficult for me to have credible rankings without seeing teams in person (that's my view anyway) ... IF we relocate "somewhere" in Southern/Southeast Ohio - nothing would change other than the fact that I would be closer to some schools than others, teams I saw regularly before may not get the game rundowns I've done in the past vs others that may be covered more ... we've looked at houses/properties all over Southern Ohio throughout the summer - Bainbridge area, Peebles, Jackson, Chillicothe, Athens, Meigs county, Gallipolis ... we are actually going to Jackson again today (Wednesday July 16th) to look at a property ... anyway, I'll let you know where the Pfloyd Elite 8 stands for the 2025-26 season as life plays out in the coming weeks ...

You have to do what's best for you, but I think it goes without saying that this forum will be a lesser place without your precense year in and year out. You are a SEOPS legend.

Hate to see you go Floyd! I don't post on here much, but I always can count on you and locos to keep me informed on the football and basketball scenes in Logan. Since Craig passed local sports information in Logan has been very limited and sometimes nowhere to be found. Hope you find happiness and peace wherever you go. I forgot about Logangrad, he also gives some good insight on Logan sports.

In a day where positivity and passionate insight are at a minimum in HS sports, your enthusiastic posts on SEO Preps were something I always looked forward to. In my mind no region in Ohio has the “feel” that SE Ohio basketball brings, especially the ‘Elite 8’ matchups. The kids truly feel special and you seemed to have your hand in that.

Even though I’ve never met you in person, you seem like someone that would be easy to be around. Regardless of where you and your wife reside I’d figure I would put that out there….you’ll always have my respect, pfloyd. Continuous blessings and good vibes. Godspeed (potentially)!!

We got stationed in Virginia Beach, and are planning on staying for good. We're not far from NC...beautiful country out there.

You'll enjoy the move to North Carolina. Try Rowan County which is about a 45-50 minute shot up 77 from Charlotte.
The high school sports are also great to see.
