Portsmouth was down only 3 points with 2 minutes left in the game ,I thought our kids played very well not a lot of teams around here could hang with this team , when Portsmouth finds another scorer they will be fine, Allison was having his way driving to the basket and long range 3s ending up with 26 points. I think him and Renolds had 46 of the 50 points

Africentric 57, Portsmouth 50..........Very proud of the Trojans effort vs. a very good Nubians squad. Kyre Allison and Kendall Reynolds showed that they just might be the best tandem in the SE District. PHS does indeed need to find another scorer to offset an off night by Allison or Reynolds. The sophomores that Coach Collins is rotating is starting to pay dividends, and by the new year PHS will be a very tough team to beat. One thing that really impressed me in this game was how the Trojans did not get rattled by Africentric's press, which gave Chillicothe fits in last week's Shawnee State Classic.

Together Allison and Reynolds are averaging almost 40 PPG through 5 games.
