HUGE GAME tuesday night:

#6 10-2 Waverly @ #4 10-2 Lucasville Valley

Both teams with NO conference losses, this will give the winner a "leg" up, but with a lot of hoops left to play, the loser is still in decent position as these two will play once again later in the year.

Pfloyd, thanks for moving the Tornadoes up! I hope you can make it down to Racine on the Pfloyd tour to take in a Southern game in person. The next three home games should be good games, Wellston 1/21, South Gallia 1/27 and Belpre 1/31. I know you probably have a purple tee shirt and purple Chuck Taylor's are always welcome at Racine so you should feel right at home. I hope everything goes well for you health wise.

Hopper 11 ... you are absolutely right that I NEED to SEE a Southern game in person !!! one of the few in the top 15 which I have not seen in a "game" I saw the Tornadoes at the Athens Preview BUT that doesn't count imo ... I haven't seen Wellston in the regular season yet either - that Wellston vs Southern game may be the one I get out to see - my Logan Purple are off this Saturday night so that night is open for the Pfloyd Tour ... is the 1/21 game vs Wellston in Racine or Wellston ??? ...

Hey Pfloyd. Hello from Viking land. That 1/21 Wellston vs Southern game is in Racine.
You can find all TVC schedules @trivalleyconference.com thanks to 93Bulldog he does a great job with his website. Just click on the schools icon and you are off on a magical trip through the wonderful TVC, both leagues, boys and girls, and all sports.

IT IS SIMPLY AMAZING

"Magical trip through the wonderful TVC" ... That's good ... Just what a 'tree-huggin liberal' from the 60's wants to hear ... lol ... We may never hear from or see Floyd again - he'll be lost in the TVC web site for God knows how long.

(BTW) Floyd - the game is IN RACINE and 93Dog will definitly be their for that one ... Always enjoy an intresting Saturday night match-up, especially between an Ohio & Hocking team ... The old gym in Racine is worth visiting too I tell ya ... There are no benches or chairs for the players - they actually sit in the bottom row of the away stands ... lol ... I sat right behind the Fed Hock players, was right in the middle of their huddle basically, and could have sworn Howie looked at me and orderd me into the game at one point!

Getting to Racine and the school is very easy - don't follow mapquest - just head down Rt. 33 and turn left when you hit the river and can't go any further ... It will take you right to the school.

Thanks Viked_Man ... 93dog has put in mega hours getting the TVC site up/running/up-to-date for BOTH Boys & Girls ... sure has made it much easier getting game results out of the TVC this year for sure ... now he's playing the "rock star" card as he is on the radio/podcast tour touting the TVC.com website !!! ;-) ...

... Racine is an easy drive from Purple Country of about an hour ... head for the river and take a left LOL ...

... tell me 93dog - they aren't on a "stage" are they??? LOL - just kidding!!! ... the visual I got when I read your discription was of the old Shade gym where you couldn't put your feet down or they would be in play on the court LOL ...

Uh, I've played in that Shade gym and it's pretty close to that ... lol ... And there is in fact a stage, but they don't play on it ... Honestly though, it looks really small, but there is actually alright seating - you should have no problems finding a seat on a Saturday night I would think. I of course use my 'rock star' status to obtain a 'stage pass' so I can take photos of the game ... lol ... I have to stand the entire time, but its worth it to be right on top the action ... Not that I didn't enjoy being 'inside' the Lancers huddle the last time I was their - but all the pics I was trying to take ended up being Howie yelling and stomping 4 feet in front of the camera.

Here ya go Floyd ... A visual experience of the Southern Gymnasium ... What is kind of funny - its so old the floor has turned from purple to blue!

http://trivalleyconference.com/Southern.html

(scroll down to the bottom - there are a few pics of just the gymnasium.)

- One last comment about Southern ... Take notice of the concession stand (or lack of one) ... lol ... I cracked up trying to obtain a bag of popcorn - after you find it Floyd, you have to comment on the set up in your game recap!!! I'm gonna leave it at that so you can experience it on your own.

Hmmmmm ... Good proposition Floyd ... I didn't really have a game yet for Tuesday ... I thought about South Gallia @ Fed Hock - but I might be going to Stewart on Friday to see Belpre ... I might have to think about this a little bit - can I muster seeing all the purple again? My stomach is still a little queezy from watching the Chieftains take on my Dogs the other night ... I wish the Buckeyes hadn't dropped that game to Alexander on Friday ... A Nelsonville-York team on a 5-game winning streak versus Logan would have been very tempting. I may just break out the coin and flip for it ... lol ... Logan? Stewart? Buckeyes vs Chieftains? Rebels vs Lancers? Man, that's tough.

TUESDAY TVC-ACTION

Nelsonville-York
Logan

Wellston
Jackson

Alexander
River Valley

Fed Hock
South Gallia

Trimble
Waterford

Eastern
Belpre

Miller
Wahama

pfloyd as a peake grad and fan thanks for all the accolades. There is alot of hours of work to put on the BOTSE. We have great people that are willing to go that extra mile to make things the best they can be. I enjoyed talking roundball with you. As you can tell we love our basketball and love to eat.
