69 - 43 ... I believe it was - VC won.

FLOYD ... GLAD TO SEE THE 'DOGS still ranked amongst the area's elite ... I'm probably more stoked about the GREEN/GOLD 'sock-in-it' too the O' MIGHTY CHIEFTAINS tonight though ...

US WHO GREW UP HATING THE PURPLE ... UH .... STILL HATE IT! AND CHIEF WAHOO! OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS ... 'Chief purple pansie' ; 'Chief I can't believe I am pained purple' ; 'Chief I wish I was green & gold & from Athens' :

Ah - you get the point ...

You know I wish I could have been their tonight though Floyd, double OT, nice ... Now that's the way to send the purple back across the Athens County line ... I had to venture to Buchtel though & see NY & Belpre .... An honest analysis on Belpre (They could probably beat just about anyone in Southeastern Ohio given the right situation) ... They lost to VC but that was without their 6-foot-5 athletic post player who transfered from Parkersburg (Reggie Sims) - With him, Tate and the Parsons kid, the Golden Eagles are very solid ... Cat-quick PG Eric Waderker gives them another quiality player and their No. 4 (power forward) 6-foot-4 Tyler Leasure had a double-double versus the 'Bucks tonight ...

I'm guessing right now, with VC getting that win (@ Belpre) - when they didn't have Simms - may make the difference the TVC-Ohio ... Athens will have its hands full down their in that 'cracker-jax-box' if Belpre has all its players going ... If the 'Dogs lose their (I believe its next Friday) it opens the door for VC @ Athens later on in the year ... After seeing Belpre tonight, VC should feel lucky they got to play the Golden Eagles w/o perhaps their best player ... Tate is really good, but Simms is too and he's 6'5.

Peace Floyd and make sure ya move the 'Dogs up a spot or two! ;-)

I wouldn't be so hateful toward the purple ... Move Athens up the list for beating a 2 -4 team
at home in double OT? ...... lol

Tate and Sims could be the most under rated guard/post tandum in Southeast District.
