Perhaps you should fire the help Floyd!

Tuesday's schedule: Head over to WATH to do another edition of the Sportsfan at 6:00. (You can tune in live to 970 AM or listen to the podcast later) ... Drop off car to pick up 4-wheel drive as I prepare to make the trip east into no-mans land, otherwise known as Corning (I mean Hemlock) ... Enjoy the 5 seconds of scenery in Chauncey heading out Rt. 13, hold my breath through Milfield (which is about 8 seconds), blink and miss Jacksonville and then stop off in Glouster to lock in the 4-wheels ... Aviod the deer, possums and skunks as I continue deep into Wayne National Forest ... BTW, have all the animals been accounted for out of Muskingum County? I mean hitting a buck is bad enough - but can you imagine what hitting an adult lion would do to your vehycle? Finally, I hope to reach Corning, or Hemlock or Miller to watch the Falcons take on the Rebels of South Gallia in a TVC-Hocking show-down in the boon-docks.

I'll be sure to give you a good scouting report on both teams Floyd ... As long as I find my way back of course.

Huntington 49
Unioto 42

Huntington makes their FTs, Unioto doesn't. That was the difference down the stretch.

Floyd ... Made is back alright man, thanks for leaving the light on (it was a big help.)

South Gallia - 59
Miller - 50

The Falcons had the ball down 4 with a minute to go - but couldn't pull it out ... Toughest thing to do sometimes is 'change the culture associated with losing.' You don't go from being 1-19, 0-20, 2-18 and think its going to turn around in just one season ... It will probably take some time, but I like what I saw out of the boys from Corning, or Hemlock I guess it is.

... Riffle has started to become a very confident scorer for the Braves of Coach Stiverson - he gets his points in the flow of the offense BUT can create for himself as well a<= a needed offensive component for the Red&White ... good to see Pritchard contribute offensively as well ... LE is getting close to their potential at both ends of the floor ... going to be fun after Christmas ... FU's lack of scoring has surprised me - I had them being more competitive than they have been - Coach Brusco is not happy where the Falcons are at this point in the season I'm sure ...

Pfloyd,

Braves are coming together on offense but they have a ways to go. They were impressive on defense tonight. FU didn't scored their 20th point until under 3 min left to go in the 3rd. Next up for LE is Columbus Beechcroft on Friday night

Much improvement against a quality oponent (Fairfield Union), LE played very well on defense and showed some very nice stuff on offense. I am not sure what Fairfield coach Brusco was doing having his kids foul with less than a minute to go in the game down 15 to 19 points, made no sense to me. You just run the risk of getting someone hurt, also loved the dunk from Riffle tonight really woke the crowd up. Great effort from Fairfield kids showing that no quit attitude, they have some very good players, just no size killed them inside.

... 93dog - good to see you survived the trek into the Land of the Big Bad Wolf and the 3 Bears!!! ... you and I both said during the Previews in Athens that Miller was going to get their share of "W's" this season , they have some ball players this season ... I will definitely be keeping an eye on the Miller boyz this season ... within 9 points of a South Gallia team that "owned" Wahama 88-58 ! nothing to be ashamed about losing by 9 ...
