Thanks, I updated it. I just had Buffalo's schedule and it said it was an away game. Sorry and thanks for the correction.

FLOYD,

Sorry for the late post, but twas a busy night in the village....Piketon ran its record to 14-2 (10-2 SVC) now with an overtime win over Adena last night. The Redstreaks and Warriors combined for 73 free throws in the game on 55 foul violations; Piketon lost Legg and Southwoth to foul trouble while Adena lost Barnes. This was a close game throughout; in overtime, however, Piketon outscored the Warriors 20-6 for an 82-68 win. Big game for the bench of Restreaks; Jared Vulgamore was clutch from the freethrow line; he and James Lewis gave valuable minutes at PG with Legg in foul trouble. The most impressive performance was from sophmore Keenan Brush; the 6'6" sophmore finished with 22 points , 12 rebounds, and 2 blocked shots...Clay Roll was solid last night for the warriors, and carried them down the stretch. Just too much depth for Piketon...difference of the game.

(Napkin Stats)
Piketon:
Jordan Brabson 23 pts, 7 rebs, 2 blocked shots
Keenan Brush 22 pts, 11 rebs, 2 blocked shots
Cody Smith 14 pts, 4 rebs
Caleb Southworth 6 pts, 9 rebs, 3 steals, 2 blocked shots

Adena:
Clay Roll 24pts,
Buddy Barnes 11 pts,
Scaggs 11pts
Jared Vulgamore 7 pts (5-6 FT shooting in OT)

The tourney drawing tomorrow....can see Redstreaks probably getting the #2 seed....We'll see...
The upcoming week has the #10 state ranked Redstreaks playing Friday night at Southeastern, and Saturday night against Vinton County at OUC (chillicothe). That should be a great matchup before the tourney.

Good to see Brush with a coming out game. We ran against him when he was in 8th grade and I just looked at the Piketon coach and said....Who is that? Then he scorched the field in the hurdles and high jump. Quite the athlete with a birght future for sure.

Hey Pfloyd......

Jackson 68
Marietta 63....WOW

Chillicothe Cavaliers move to 10-3 after coming out on top with a 53-38 win over Columbus East. Cavs looked a bit rusty coming out of the gate (15 day layoff will do that), but turned it on late. As you can tell by the score, our defense once again gets it down. Dawes once again leads the Cavs with 15, followed by Knights with 14 and Ron Smith with 11. On senior night these big three came through in the end.

GO CAVS!!!

pfloyd;

#8 Lucasville Valley was 1-1 on the week, dropping a tough one @ Oak Hill, where they were never in the game, but rebounded nicely and picked up a wn over Greenup Co. tonight.

Valley is now 12-4 overall...

Pfloyd I enjoy reading this every week. Just wish the Pointers would move up on the list. (Guess you don't go up if you don't win!) ;-)
