Any idea how many treys and total FGs Blake attempted? Also how many did he miss while they were up with less than 4 minutes to go? How many points did Peebles score in the last 4 minutes?

Why don't you tell us mhs95_06. You obviously have the #s. Seems to me you should take the win for what it was. A great display of high school basketball, from both teams, with Manchester coming out on top by 2. What a game. I guess your failed attempt at satire makes you happier than a good win.....

Blake was 13/20 from downtown. 65%. Thats a new SHL record and good for 3rd most in a game by any ohio high schooler.

65% from the three-point line is great shooting, heck 65% from the two point range is great shooting!

Porstmouth Clay shot overall for 68% as a team against St Joe in the Ironton Classic scoring 67 points. I wonder if that might be a record for them.

Peebles beat West Union tonight 73-36. Subs came in really early and did a great job contributing on both ends of the floor. Peebles was led by Blake Justice with 23 followed by Jacob Daniels with 12 and Andy Countryman with 10.

Portsmouth finishes 2-1 in the KSA Holiday Tournament in Orlando, FL.........they defeated Pace, FL 55-43, lost to Los Alamitos, CA 55-38, and then defeated Spanish River, FL 53-47 in 2 OT.........all the opponents would be D1 schools in Ohio. The Trojans finished 3rd overall out of the 8 team tournament (all D1 schools except Portsmouth)..........Wayne Evans and Dion McKinley both averaged double figure points for PHS, with McKinley nailing 2 FT's to send the Spanish River game into OT.

Los Alamitos won the tournament by defeating Tottenville, NY in the championship game.

Pfloys,

Hop all is well with you and you regain all of your strength for the coming year!

Quick update on Eastern Pike. The Eagles now stand at 4-2 after the holiday classic after a tough loss to D2 Waverly by 3 pts 49-46. The Eagles defense was stiffling as they held both Kretzer and Martin to a combined 24 points. The Eagles missed on two open 3 pointers in the closing 10 seconds that could have sent it to overtime. Waverly then pushed Piketon to the limit losing to the Streaks 68-67.

Tough loss for the eagles but shows they have the potential to play with VERY good teams, especially for a D4.

Is Sheridan not in the Southeast this year? FU played them the other night and got it handed to them. I think they were 5-1 at the time. Was a pretty athletic team and could do a lot of different things to attack you.

lost....... yes I believe that Sheridan is still in SE District. I was also their for the FU game and Sheridan looked very good and I believe will be right at the top for the District, probably challenging Warren.
On a side note, Warren`s coach was also at that game and probably got an eye full of Sheridan and will now know what they have.

I've watched Miami Trace and the older Carson boy is playing very well. They also have some nice complimentary players with Hughes, Leach, etc. I don't think they're as good as a Chillicothe, Warren, etc. at this point, but I'll put them in that second group in Division II. They've made nice leaps off of last season.

Circleville also plays at home (high school gym) against Canal Winchester on Friday. LE plays at Hamilton Township on Friday.
