Piketon won by 27 last night 72-45 over Southeastern. Piketon is now 12-5 on the season, 10-2 in the SVC, and play Vinton County tonight at OU-Chillicothe. Streaks looked fresh and played a lot of guys last night tuning up for the tourney. Evan Legg and James Lewis were spectacular last night and continue to get stronger each week.

Napkin Stats: Piketon
Evan Legg- 21pts, 4 assists, 5 rebs
James Lewis-16pts, 5 rebs
Keenan Brush- 8 pts

Big game tonight for the Streaks...Should be a good one!

I am reminded that preseason the question everyone posed for the Streaks was "how would they replace two 1000pt scorers?"...The streaks lost Southworth (double-double man) midseason and have proven they are still a solid team. I think most people have moved them down their list because of 5 losses and the loss of Southworth. The loss has allowed other players to step up and improve their games, which makes the Streaks a deeper team. Will be nice to get Southworth back come playoff time to add back in the mix! He has worked extremely hard in practice and is still a huge part of this team. Redstreak Nation is alive and ready for tournament time...Let's Go Streaks!!!

pfloyd:if i was you i would sit on the McClain side down low. if you sit up top the bars on the railing can obstruct your view at times. plus there arent the little kids down low playing tag lol

... Coach Kelley ... I agree - the Streaks ARE definitely still a quality TEAM ... Legg has been what we all have expected and more - heck of a player ... I was extremely impressed with the way Keenan Brush has picked up his offensive game - he IS a good medium range and in shooter ... with Southworth coming back into the lineup come tourney time, the PT that others have received in his absence ... don't count Piketon out of making a tourney run yet again ... best of luck to PHS tonight vs those pesky Vinton County boyz ...

... BG38 ... LOL - those pesky "little people/basketball players of the furture" LOL ... down low it is ... look to get a "back rest" lol - I'm guessing those seats behind the benches with backs on em are reserved seating for the home side ... is this a triple header tonight?

Waverly moves to 13-3 with a convincing win AT South Webster. Only losses to Logan Elm (1st game of the year), Oak Hill (by 2 at Oak Hill) and South Webster (without Martin).
