All teams ranked below the Trojans ... hard to RUN up the rankings without beating teams ranked ahead of you ... the teams in the Elite 8 who lost this week - Fairfield Union (St Chuck only 2 losses on the season) ... Unioto (Miami Trace who jumped up over UHS), Chillicothe (OT to Miami Trace who was ranked above the Cavs ) ... the only other loss by a team above PHS was Sheridan ...

Not that it matters too much, but Valley is actually 2-15.

Wheelersburg is 12-5

Waverly playing two Burg's ahead of them this weekend with an opportunity of improving to 15-5 and possibly moving ahead of them.
Then they finish the regular season next week with Minford and Northwest. Need a nice winning streak (run) to finish 17-5 going into the tourney.

Trojans will have our shot, hosting Fairland this week,then a road matchup @ Rock Hill. almost tourney time! Go Trojans

Why do you have Portsmouth Clay (#14) ahead of Portsmouth (#16) - other than Clay has only 2 losses vs. Portsmouth's 4? Who did each team lose to? What common opponents do they have? Who did Portsmouth Clay defeat that merits the Panther's ranking?

BTW, wifey is a Clay graduate and I am from PHS so this is a source of "controversy" in our home...lol.

If that was the case, Portsmouth would definitely be ahead of Clay instead of behind them.

Portsmouth Clay is in the midst of a 14 game winning streak ... the 2 losses were early in the year while missing starter Nathanael Hinze - 2 close losses by a total of 5 points to Eastern Pike & Portsmouth East (OT) ... Portsmouth had the 1st game W over Waterford then a bad loss to Coal Grove (imo) ... a close loss to Gallia Academy before the Trojans own 7 game win streak ... In my mind Clay could be sitting undefeated at this late date in the regular season ... both having great seasons ! - the Panthers get the nod from the committee of one - me ...
