Zane Trace is 8-14. They beat FCA on Tuesday. The Columbus Dispatch and WKKJ had the wrong team winning.

... I'll fix it nice guy - thanks ... IF anyone else sees that the records are incorrect please let me know so I can correct them - when I did the final records I found my 'recording" skills have some teams NOT reaching the 22 game mark - even Fairland at 20-1 is missing one game - I think it was a final game with TUG Valley ? ... the final rankings were actually NOT easy to do ! Logan with the big win over Warren in the last SEOAL matchup ... had it been a week earlier with another "W" to follow i would have pushed them up but too many other quality teams in front of the Purple - Portsmouth Clay, Waterford , Oak Hill ... all kept pace taking care of "bidness" by getting "Ws" as well ... Logan with a top 10 finish IS the highest ranking for the Chieftains since I've been doing the rankings ... It will be interesting to see if Logan can equal this years record NEXT season - losing Kory Henthorne in the middle will be a BIGGER challenge than many expect ... Logan's man in the middle played as a "man" this past season ... I've looking at what's in the pipeline - someone or multiple folks are going to have to step up BIG to fill KH's shoes ... the void in the middle will be felt vs teams Above the Lancaster-Dixon Line ...

Chieftain2009 ... I looked long and hard at it ... I WANTED to put them in the Elite 8 ... in the end wasn't able to JUMP them that far UP the rankings without shorting the other quality teams that were above them to begin the week that WAS ...

... thanks Hoopie74 ... love everything surrounding Southern/SouthEast Ohio hoops - the games, the teams, the players, the coaches and the fans of the game Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... so much more to play out in these next 4 weeks too !!! a lot less traveling though LOL ! Logan to the Convo & back should do it for me !!! ... there's some folks that I NEVER see during the season BUT they make the trek to the Convo & come up the Cheap Seats to watch the games in all of the divisions - and it happens every year - I call these folks friends ... we always have a good time enjoying/analyzing/cheering on all of the teams that make it to Basketball Thirty ... I love it and will continue to do it as long as the Head Coach keeps me in the game ... nothing better in sport at any level than this time of the year in Southern/SouthEast Ohio High School sports ...

I vote that we just give fed hocking a win. Or a tie. Something. 0-22? That's tough on the kids.

One more win or a .500 record would have put them in.

My boys were so close to going to Portsmouth Clay back in 2002-2003...I took a promotion to work for the 84 Lumber out there, and we lived in a nice little house on Rosemount Rd. One of the guys I worked with there actually done some coaching at Portsmouth Clay while I was there. Cannot think of his name right now. I was telling my boy that plays for Meigs now that he would have been playing there if we would have stayed there...lol...We actually only lived there for 3 months in the Summer and I didn't like the job and left Portsmouth and came back home...I am gonna try to figure out that guy I worked with name, he was an Outside Contractor at 84 Lumber.

His name was Kelly White, he either coached or helped with the girls back then.

9 teams ... I wonder how many many it to district championship games?

Trace vs FU
VC vs Warren
Fairland & Oak Hill can make it in separate brackets
Waterford and Clay can as well.

If you'd have just kept Chillicothe at 9 - you could have tossed a perfect game Floyd.

:)
