The Peake at the Newark Holiday Tournament on the 26th and 27th. The Peake plays Westerville North and Newark vs Toledo Woodward on Sat. Consolation and Championship on Sun.

Washington plays a loaded Wheelersburg team in the Portsmouth Wendy's Classic Dec 26th @ 2pm. Wheelersburg has a lot of athleticism. WCH will find out a lot about themselves with the Burg, Roundtown and up the street rival MT for the next 3 games. 2 of 3 on the road.

Portsmouth meets Columbus Afrecentric tonight

... in my travels in the first 3 Weeks of the season I have witnessed some of the best PG play in a long - ball handling/perimeter shooting/creating their own shots / the ability to get to the rim - at least in the "number" of quality point guards I have seen Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line in many many many years ... AND I have only seen a limited number of PGs out there !!! looking forward to seeing MORE but here is "short list" of those who have made the biggest impression on pfloyd /along with the napkin stats they put up for the games I witnessed :

Mowery being back definitely makes their game with VC a heck of a lot more interesting!

Unioto's Logan Swackhammer is quickly coming into his own at the point, especially with staying out of foul trouble this weekend. Shooting 47% on 3s currently and over 2:1 on assist to turnovers.

I'm a big fan of Bartoe/Lutz/Knisley/Wyman/Rowe/Young and how they run their teams.
